The NCP57302DSADGEVB is an extra-low dropout linear voltage regulator (LDO) from ON Semiconductor that provides superior performance and reliability in a wide range of applications. Its low output voltage can be set between 0.8V and 5.0V with a precision of 2% and its ultra-low dropout voltage and powerful output current makes it suitable for a varity of industrial and consumer applications. The device’s internal design uses an advanced bi-CMOS process combined with a dynamic gain network, providing a superior power device that helps extend battery life, increase efficiency, and reduce power consumption. The NCP57302DSADGEVB is an evaluation board designed to provide a convenient platform for the evaluation of the NCP57302 LDO.

This evaluation board isdesigned to support up to 1.2 A of continuous output current and includes an accurate on-board voltage measurement system. The board has been designed to provide easy access to several of the LDO’s key functions and features, including current regulation, cutoff current measurement, and thermal performance assessment. In addition, the NCP57302DSADGEVB evaluation board includes active noise reduction circuitry to improve noise immunity to EMC testing and to provide better stability.

The NCP57302DSADGEVB device also features external current shunt presets and biasing inputs to fine-tune the output current for improved stability and improved load line regulation.
