Working Principle

The NCV8664CDT50RKG is a two-terminal device arranged for providing an output voltage adjusted to the user\'s setting. By default, the device is configured to provide a 3.3V output voltage, although overvoltage protection is also implemented. Today, most modern microprocessors require 3.3V, but with the feature of setting the voltage, the device ensures a wide range of voltage output range.

The NCV8664CDT50RKG is designed to operate in either an active or a passive mode. When operating in active mode, the voltage output is adjusted through a voltage control loop.
