NVT210DDM3R2G temperature sensor uses Infineon’s patented differential temperature sensing technology which gives it superior accuracy and reliability over other temperature sensors. The sensing element is composed of a pair of NTC thermistors (negative temperature coefficient thermistors) which are calibrated with a temperature compensation circuit. The sensing element is sealed in a TO-220 package for enhanced temperature stability and excellent mechanical protection.

The sensor measures the differential temperature between two spots directly, and the analog output voltage is proportional to the differential temperature. The output voltage signal is further calibrated and converted into a temperature reading. The resolution of the temperature reading is 2℃, and the temperature range is -25℃ to 125℃. It can easily be connected to a microcontroller via an analog to digital converter, and the temperature reading can be displayed on an LCD.
