OM13063UL is a high-performance evaluation board provided by STMicroelectronics that is designed for embedded applications and has a good platform flexibility. It has a dual-core architecture that supports two powerful 80MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ core for advanced computing performance and also integrates digital signal processing (DSP) and Floating Point Unit (FPU) into the processor to handle high data throughput requirements. In addition, it also features a variety of unique peripherals including USB OTG, SPI, UART, CAN, and RTC.The OM13063UL evaluation board is an excellent platform for evaluating microcontrollers and digital signal processing solutions. It is designed to support a wide range of applications such as motor control, energy control, medical or industrial automation, and many other embedded applications. It is also suitable for prototyping complex designs that require both high-performance and high-data throughput capabilities.The OM13063UL evaluation board has three power domains: an MPU core domain, an APU core domain, and a peripheral domain. The MPU core domain consists of two 80MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ cores, an FPU, and an instruction cache. The APU core domain consists of four 16-bit DSP vector coprocessors and four RAM blocks, each of which can be configured independently. The peripheral domain consists of a Gigabit Ethernet MAC, USB OTG, SPI, I2C, a Watchdog timer, and more. All these components are connected to an on-board power switch controller, which enables power gating and is designed to minimize power dissipation.The OM13063UL evaluation board also includes a debug connection which can be used to connect a PC or other compatible debugging systems for programming and debugging capabilities. It also includes a configurable bootloader for easy application boot-up and provides access to Cortex-M0+ system registers.The OM13063UL evaluation board provides a comprehensive development platform for both high-end embedded applications and advanced digital signal processing systems.
