  • The OM5569/NT322FM evaluation and development kit is designed to provide the user with all the components and programs needed to evaluate, modify and develop the application of binary tags within the RFID sphere. This generation 2 standard kit is based on the thin-film silicon MMIC process and provides full support of the EPC global and currently most widely used standard, the ISO-18000-6C (UHF Gen2) protocol. It provides high-performance near-field communication as well as a highly flexible 8-channel multi-gate transceiver design that is ideal for RFID applications.

  • Hardware and Design
  • The OM5569/NT322FM protocol is based on an eight-channels receiver with two separate receivers and transceivers. The first contains a receiver transceiver with a two-level gain control for optimum performance in both poor and excellent communication conditions. The receiver runs at a frequency of 915MHz and has a 6 dBi omni-directional antenna as standard. The second transceiver is based on a broadband (up to 24GHz) receiver amplifier for an improved signal-to-noise ratio, and a low-power switching channel for optimum power.
