Application Field: This board supports the Single-Carrier Wideband Wireless System Standard, which uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) waveform in the band from 2400 – 2483.5 MHz. It is ideal for wideband communication systems, such as Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11) and HiperLAN.

Working Principle: The OM7623/BFU725F/2400,598 uses Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) technology, which is a combination of transmission and frequency-hopping techniques that use a broad frequency spectrum spread in a pre-determined manner. The basic structure of the OFDM system is composed of multiple narrowband carriers with a common spreading code.
