The OM7963 is a development kit from Opulent Americas Inc. designed to enable RF evaluation and development for applications from 830MHz to 950MHz. Operating in the ISM band, this all-in-one transceiver is an integrated solution for creating RF link solutions using the Zigbee protocol. It is a two chip solution consisting of a MX25R8035F integrated circuit and a LNA. This integrated solution provides access to a wide range of features making it ideal for applications such as remote controls, wireless links, alarms, detectors, and other user equipment.

The OM7963 is designed to support data rates up to 125 Kbits/s and provides a maximum output power of 13 dBm. The transceiver is based on a CMOS Zero-IF technology and has a low power consumption of typically 8mA. The integrated solution has a low current consumption and a wide operating temperature range.

The OM7963 has a four-channel receiver architecture.
