The OPA340PA is a low cost, high speed, monolithic bipolar operational amplifier used in a variety of linear applications. The OPA340PA provides superior performance in terms of input offset voltage, noise and distortion, while also offering very good gain accuracy and stable operation to frequencies in excess of 100MHz.
The OPA340PA is designed for use in general-purpose high-speed, high-bandwidth applications. These applications include voltage followers, voltage-to-current amplifiers, transimpedance amplifiers, integrators, peak detectors, active filters, and instrumentation amplifiers. The OPA340PA can be powered from a single-ended or symmetrical power supply, making it well suited for a variety of applications including audio and video systems. It is well-suited for low noise and low distortion applications due to its high input SNR and high PSRR performance.

OPA340PA Working Principle
The OPA340PA is a monolithic bipolar operational amplifier and works based on the principles of differential current loop. The device is a two stage, internally compensated amplifier with low parasitics and achieves a stable gain over a wide frequency range from DC to 30 MHz. The amplifier consists of two separate differential input stages. The first stage is a common emitter and provides ahigh open loop gain, good frequency response, and very low bias current. The first stage also provides a good power supply noise rejection, which is particularly useful in low noise, high gain applications.The output stage is a current mirror and provides excellent power supply rejection. By taking advantage of the low output impedance presented by the current mirror, the second stage is capable of driving large capacitive and resistive loads. The combination of the low input current and high output drive enables the OPA340PA to drive a wide variety of amplifiers and other components.The OPA340PA contains an input compensation pin, which allows the amplifier to be optimized for a variety of low frequency, low noise applications. The input compensation pin adjusts the amount of Miller effect compensation and can be used to reduce the slew rate if needed. The frequency response is also adjustable via the input compensation pin.In addition, the OPA340PA has wide dynamic range, making it suitable for a variety of applications such as audio, video, and instrumentation amplifiers. The wide dynamic range allows the OPA340PA to accept high level signals without saturating the output.
