The OPA551UA/2K5 is a monolithic operational amplifier that is developed and manufactured by Texas Instruments, an American technology company. It belongs to the family of Linear - Amplifiers - Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps devices. It is a high accuracy, high input impedance and wide bandwidth amplifier with excellent noise performance. The OPA551UA/2K5 provides extremely low noise, wide bandwidth and fast settling time in a small 8-pin DIP package. It operates from ±2.5 V to ±18 V single-ended supplies or ±5 V to ±36 V dual supply. It is well suited for instrumentation and test applications such as bridges, strain gages, thermocouples, thermistors, and pressure transducers. It is also suitable for data acquisition systems, wideband gain blocks, active filters, active anti-aliasing filters, differential amplifiers and high-speed sample and hold circuits.The OPA551UA/2K5 is an ultra-precision instrumentation amplifier designed for wide bandwidth applications. It has a high input impedance of 4 GΩ and a wide common-mode range of -2.5 V to +2.5 V. It also has a high CMRR of 170 dB, making it ideal for demanding, accuracy-sensitive applications. The OPA551UA/2K5 amplifier has a unity-gain bandwidth (GBW) of 3 MHz and delivers up to 35.8 mA of output current. Additionally, the amplifier has a closed-loop gain of 120 dB at 1 kHz, providing low-distortion performance. The OPA551UA/2K5 incorporates advanced architecture and design that provides high stability and low offset drift across input common-mode range and temperature. The chopper-stabilized high-speed amplifiers have an open-loop gain of > 100 dB and a gain-bandwidth of 3 MHz. These amplifiers provide low noise performance, low distortion, high-accuracy and high stability.The OPA551UA/2K5 offers excellent performance for industrial, scientific, and medical applications. It is well suited for a variety of applications such as precision voltage reference circuits, bridge sensors, strain gages, thermistor sensing, BNC and SMA sensors, audio and voice processing, broadband amplifiers, medical instrumentation, and many other low-noise, precision applications. The OPA551UA/2K5 is a high-performance, high-speed, monolithic instrumentation amplifier with excellent stability and low offset drift. It is designed to operate with single-ended supplies and can be configured for single-ended to differential output conversion. The OPA551UA/2K5 is easy to use, highly reliable and economical. It is available in 8-pin PDIP and TSSOP packages with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
