ORSO82G5-2F680C is an FPGA model developed by Lattice Semiconductor Corporation, which is often used in mission-critical applications and digital signal processing due to its small form factor, low power consumption and high performance.The ORSO82G5-2F680C FPGA uses a low-power 12 nm process technology which supports high-speed data transport, or provides operation at the highest range of frequency manipulation. The ORSO82G5-2F680C device uses an embedded non-volatile memory (OTP) and an asynchronous memory array that together enables developers to program, upgrade, and re-configure the circuit as needed for their application.The ORSO82G5-2F680C FPGAfeatures a general-purpose hardware platform consisting of transceivers, dual-channel SERDES transceivers, clock management tiles, external memory interfaces and PLLs, as well as hard IP blocks such as memory controllers, high-speed logic, and embedded Dual-Port SRAM. Three different packages are available:sCQFP, cSFBGA, and uBGA. The sCQFP package is recommended for applications that require rugged environmental conditions, pin compatibility with a variety of existing and compatible packages, and high heat dissipation. The cSFBGA package is recommended for applications that require more efficient packaging in a small form factor. Finally, the uBGA package is recommended for applications that require the most challenging power, performance and area constraints.The ORSO82G5-2F680C device can be used in a wide range of embedded applications such as telecommunication base stations and optical networking systems, medical devices, industrial automation equipment, automotive controllers, and aerospace systems. Furthermore, the ORSO82G5-2F680C device can also be used in high-speed designs such as the latest ATCA, OC- /AFDX, and POSIX networked systems. The ORSO82G5-2F680C device uses a Push-button Programmable (PBP) FPGA, which is a reconfigurable fabric architecture that leverages the Lattice Adaptive Networking System (LANS) technology to reduce the long-term costs of design and maintenance. PBP’s flexibility allows the ORSO82G5-2F680C device to be easily incorporate multiple gate sizes and power savings that vary with each design. In addition to the push-button programmable feature, the ORSO82G5-2F680C device has extended programming and configuration capabilities. Its CoreAPL language can be used to tune performance, customize logic, and reduce power. Furthermore, the ORSO82G5-2F680C device is equipped with IP for address translation and other functionality, such as SerDes-to-PCI Express bridges, a wide variety of user-configurable configuration options, and an integrated debugging hardware core.Overall, the ORSO82G5-2F680C FPGA is a powerful and versatile device that can offer the maximum performance, flexibility, and control necessary in high-end embedded applications.
