The four layers of insulation material are the Semiconductor Resin Layer, the Electrical Structural Layer, the Insulating Encapsulation Layer, and the Dielectric Isolating Layer. In addition, the OSSRD2001D is designed to provide electrical protection against short-circuits, overcurrent, and overvoltage.The OSSRD2001D is capable of controlling a wide range of electrical loads. It is typically used for switching on/off high voltage AC loads such as lights, motors, pumps, solenoids, and other electrical equipment.
