P3403ACMCLRP

The P3403ACMCLRP is a negative overvoltage protection device developed by ROHM Semiconductors. It is classified in the TVS – Thyristors family of products and is typically used as a protection device for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. The P3403ACMCLRP is designed to be a replacement for traditional diodes and TVS devices when protection against overvoltage is required.

The P3403ACMCLRP is made up of two components: a thyristor and a diode. The Thyristor is designed to protect equipment when an overvoltage occurs or is anticipated. The diode provides additional protection against transient voltage spikes, as well as providing the needed conduction when the voltage is within the allowed range. The P3403ACMCLRP is constructed using ROHM’s vertical-structure technology, which reduces the amount of die surface required for packaged devices.

The P3403ACMCLRP provides optimum voltage protection and is suitable for use with a variety of power supplies, motors, and other electronic equipment. The device has an operating range of -65V to +125V and a breakdown voltage of less than 200V. The P3403ACMCLRP has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and a maximum junction temperature of +150°C. The device has a fast acting surge time of less than 1.5 ns and a fast decay time of less than 6 ns for surge events. It has excellent dV/dt immunity at greater than 5kV/μs.
