TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diode, or popularly known as surge arresters, are protective semiconductor devices. Specifically, P4KE7.5CA-B used in application is a bivariate transient voltage suppressor diode. This is mainly used to protect sensitive electronic circuits from the damages caused by overvoltage transients.
