TVS-diodes are used to protect circuits and other components from overvoltage and/or transients caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), lightning, electrical noise, etc. The P4SMA20A is a SURFACE MOUNT Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diode array that can provide low capacitance ESD, EFT and surge protection up to IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 (8 kV contact / 15 kV air).

The P4SMA20A has an optimized packaging design that allows it to be mounted on the surface of a circuit board. It is available in a variety of packaging formats, including a 4-pin SOT-23, a 4-pin SC-105 and a 5-pin SOT-23 footprint.
