PAM2307BECADJR Application Field and Working Principle

PMIC – Voltage Regulators – DC DC Switching Regulators is a category of power management integrated circuits (PMIC) that are used to regulate the output voltage from an input voltage through a switching regulator architecture. The PAM2307BECADJR is a general purpose DC/DC switching regulator from Texas Instruments. It is an adjustable step-down switching regulator that utilizes a voltage-mode control for excellent line and load transient responses.

Working Principle

The operating principle of the PAM2307BECADJR is based on a voltage-mode architecture. The device starts in PWM mode and automatically provides pulse-skipping mode to reduce input power when in light loads.
