The PC852XJ0000F device is a quad channel, NPN phototransistor optoisolator that can be applied in various sensing, switching and industrial automation & process control applications. It offers excellent electrical isolation between input and output units and provides superior optical performance.The PC852XJ0000F optoisolator consists of four separate special isolation channels. Each channel includes a phototransistor output and a monolithic integrated circuit LED. The LED is located within the optically isolated housing, while the phototransistor output is located in a separate package. The phototransistor output is an NPN transistor with a 100mA continuous collector current and a 25mA peak collector current rating at 25°C. The PC852XJ0000F also features shielded packages to minimize radiation, and the phototransistor provides improved isolation between input and output channels. This device is suitable for industrial applications where the maximum loop current is not exceeded, ensuring reliable operation. The PC852XJ0000F optoisolator can be used in a wide range of applications such as analog sensing and switching, driving DC/step motors, positioning and regulating speed control, monitoring proximity sensors and relays, counting cycles and other pulse control circuits.
