Bits written to the output port are used to directly set the outputs of the PCA9538D, 112. In order to send data to the PCA9538D, 112, the master must first transmit a start condition, followed by the device address and a write bit. After the command is received by the PCA9538D, 112, the master transmits data then the master transmits a stop condition to complete the transmission.
