Interface - I/O Expanders are a critical aspect of many modern electronic devices. The PCAL9535AHF is a digital I/O driver designed with the application field and working principle of 128 features. This device also includes a dedicated ‘repeat start’ function, which enables the processor to start and complete a ‘read-modify write\' cycle in one synchronization step.

Furthermore, the device firmware can be upgraded using the UART protocol, which allows upgrading of the device on-the-fly.
