The PCM1850APJT is a 12-bit, 500 ksps, pipelined analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that integrates a low-noise, low-offset, low-power differential amplifier with a 10-bit pipeline ADC core. It provides a highly accurate signal conversion with excellent dynamic performance and a low power consumption. This ADC has a wide range of applications for many industrial, medical and automotive applications.
The PCM1850APJT output can be interfaced with microcontrollers and other digital systems. One of the most important features of this ADC is its wide input range and low differential input voltage range from 1.5V to 6V. This enables the ADC to process both DC and AC signals without additional external components.
The PCM1850APJT ADC also features a temperature-compensated voltage reference and is available in various packages. It is designed to provide excellent resolution and accuracy with minimal power consumption. The most important feature of this ADC is its input polarity, which supports both unipolar and bipolar input signals.
The PCM1850APJT uses a differential signal path, which provides higher performance and accuracy compared to single-ended signal paths. The PCM1850APJT offers a wide variety of output options, including 10-bit parallel, Serial UART, SPI, and I2C compatible serial interfaces. It can be configured to output in single-ended or differential output mode. It also supports multiple sampling modes such as single-ended or differential, Normal or Shared-Clock, and Edge- or Event-Triggered modes.
