PH08-3, 50-K application field and working principle number belong to a kind of IEC standard high-voltage electrical apparatus with forced field Self-Excitation, and the device is widely used in power plants, high and low voltage transmission and distribution systems, long distance power transmission, shipbuilding, industrial production and other areas.The PH08-3, 50-K has such characteristics as low operating cost, small space requirements and low maintenance requirements. It is suitable for medium and high voltage (1.5–525 kV) and transient voltage (3–10 kV) applications and can handle 1000 and 1200/20 A instantaneous peak currents. The device is also capable of handling 10,000 MVA current and surge voltage spike of up to 40KV.The PH08-3, 50-K uses an inductive voltage regulator (IVR) to provide an artificial voltage source. The input to the circuit consists of a single phase supply, with a resistance and inductance combination that is adjusted by controlling the total resistance in the regulator.The regulator\'s control mechanism is based on the concept of induction, which controls the current of the output voltage. This includes combining the input voltage and the current, applying an impedance relationship between the two, and then controlling the total resistance in the system.The total voltage is then divided into three parts: the base current, the steady-state current and the transient-state current. The steady-state voltage is then used to determine the functioning of the regulator. The steady-state current is regulated by the total resistance of the system, and the transient-state current is regulated by the inductance of the system.The output of the regulator is then transmitted through a secondary winding, which produces the output voltage. The output voltage is then adjusted according to a predetermined value that is set either by a pre-defined setting or by an EMI element, such as a resistor or capacitor.The PH08-3, 50-K circuit is designed to produce a maximum voltage of 575V. The regulator is protected by a built-in safety interlock, which prevents any overload from damaging the system.In order to ensure the safety and reliability of the system, the PH08-3, 50-K circuit must be regularly checked and maintained.
