The PI2EQX8864AZLEX is a family of equalizing integrated circuits designed for the professional audio, multimedia, and consumer audio markets. The PI2EQX8864AZLEX is capable of providing multiple types of equalisation and signal conditioning, while maintaining low power consumption and low noise. The PI2EQX8864AZLEX is designed to provide an interface between digital and analog audio sources and enables digital signals to be optimally transmitted between digital and analog audio components, as well as provide superior equalization capabilities.

The PI2EQX8864AZLEX design elegantly combines an analog voltage differential amplifier (VDA) and two variable gain amplifiers (VGA) together with a digital-domain variable gain amplifier and a set of unique control logic circuitry.
