Evaluation Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS consists of different types of testing equipment. The PI3301-01-EVAL1 is one of them which is used to test the electrical characteristics of both DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) switch mode power supply (SMPS) circuits. It is designed to provide laboratory-grade accuracy with the aim of helping engineers to evaluate the performance of their SMPS designs.

The PI3301-01-EVAL1 consists of multiple components that work together to achieve its purpose. The power supply circuit board is composed of a main controller, transient voltage suppressor, feedback resistors, pulse-width modulator (PWM) controller, charging capacitor, and input and output filters.
