The PI6C49053AIE is an improved version of the PI6C49053, a 4-output complementary clock buffer that amplifies and reshapes low-noise, high-frequency inputs such as LVDS, LVPECL, CML and differential PECL. The PI6C49053AIE is unique in that it is specifically designed to address the growing power requirements of next-generation CPU designs. It offers superior power management and superior layout control than the previous version, allowing engineers to create more low-noise solutions and reduce the overall costs of their design.
With 3.3V full rail-to-rail operation and <0.8V output swing, the PI6C49053AIE offers superior performance for a variety of applications. Its four outputs can deliver up to 4.8GHz of clock frequencies and Low-skew outputs can be programmed to within 2.5ns of each other for true multi-megawatt applications.
Additionally, this device features advanced power management features such as linear regulator overtemperature protection and thermal overload protection, as well as current limit detection to improve reliability and system stability. The PI6C49053AIE provides superior electrical performance while reducing system cost and complexity.
