The PIC12F1572T-I/MS (hereafter referred to as the PIC) is an Integrated Circuit (IC) designed for embedded applications where a reasonably powerful and configurable processor is needed. This IC is manufactured by Microchip Technologies and is part of the PIC Microcontrollers range. The PIC has an 8-bit, RISC (reduced instruction set computer) architecture with a wide range of different packages and configurations.
The PIC offers up to 8KB of Flash, 256 bytes of RAM and up to 64 I/O pins. It also supports four 8-bit and four 16-bit timers, a serial communication interface (SPI or I2C) and up to four USARTs (Universal Sequential Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) for serial communication.
