It uses a RISC architecture organized into four banks of 8K Flash program memory and 128 bytes of RAM, features an analog-to-digital converter, a high-speed oscillator, four high-performance 8-bit timers, and an extensive set of peripherals including 14-bit Enhanced Compare/Capture/PWM (ECCP) module. The PIC16F874AT-I/PT microcontroller is ideally used in applications such as industrial control, digital power supplies, motor control, energy metering, consumer electronics, home appliances and automotive systems.
