The PIC17C42A-16/P is a 16-bit microcontroller, based on the modified Harvard architecture, with 16 Interrupts (IRQs) built-in. It is designed with EPROM, Flash and RAM (ROM, EEPROM and RAM) memory options and is programmed using the low-cost PC-based development boards. It is also capable of executing complex programs and functions, including encryption and real-time processing.
