The PIC17C44 is a high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcontroller, featuring a 14-bit wide instruction word, ranges from 9 to 40-pin versions and up to 8KB of one-time programmable (OTP) Flash memory. The PIC17C44 offers an internal oscillator module with various operating frequency ranges, an analog comparator and two Capture/Compare/PWM modules that can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as motor/motion control, industrial automation, and consumer/home appliances.

This microcontroller is suitable for use in applications that require low powered, low cost processors. The PIC17C44-25E/PQ is a 25-pin version of the PIC17C44 with 8KB of Flash memory and 512 bytes of SRAM.
