The PIMC31,115 is a pre-biased topologies array of bipolar junction transistors (BJT) enabling simultaneous high-current gain and low leakage current of the overall circuit. The device comprises a small series of transistors with the same polarity connected in a small space in the same package, with each individual transistor using the same base-emitter voltage. This unique feature of the PIMC31,115 means that it is able to achieve the same high level of efficiency as more traditional BJT arrays even when the current gain and leakage current requirements are higher.
