It is mainly used in communication and data acquisition systems, computer peripherals, medical instruments, and other timing applications.The PL585-P8-038OC consists of a main clock unit, a timing circuit, an internal buffer clock, and an onboard 8-pin PLL output control signal. The main clock source is a 10-MHz external crystal oscillator, which permits frequency multiplication up to 8x and can produce up to 360MHz. The internal buffer clock divides the frequency, providing a clock source for the timing circuit. The EN is the enable signal. When high level, the oscillator works and can draw up to 100mA current; when low level, the oscillator is powered off. The P signal is an 8-pin PLL output control signal. When high level, the PLL mode is enabled, the internal output clock is put in PLL control; when low level, the internal clock is in crystal control mode. The M signal is the frequency-multiplier control signal. The R&F signal is used for frequency adjustment. When high level, it is for frequency multiplication; when low level, it is for frequency division.
