PLA110LS belongs to the solid state relays and its application field mainly includes industrial control, telecommunication, heating and ventilation, home appliances and consumer electronics. This solid state relay is designed to switch on or off the appliances or circuits with an AC voltage of 110 volts at 50/60 Hz. The switching capacity of PLA110LS can be 25 amps, and its switch continues current is 25 amps and withstand voltage is 1000V AC.
The working principle of PLA110LS is based on the principle of using a semiconductor module to control power. The AC input voltage is converted into a small DC voltage to control the switching of the semiconductor module. When the external control signal is 0V or DC voltage, the PLA110LS will be in OFF state; On the other hand, if the control signal is DC voltage turns to 5V-24V, the solid relay will turn on the load. The output voltage is zero if it is in OFF state, and the output voltage reaches 110V if it is in ON state.
Although the PLA110LS is a relatively small component, it can excellently replace electromagnetic control and mechanical switches. The solid state relay also has many advantages, such as high switching frequency, low power consumption, fast response time, interference resistance, good stability, long service life, consistent performance, and so on.
