It reduces the electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) of the control circuits. When the input voltage is higher than a certain threshold, the two transistors of the multi-vibrator are switched so that the output current is either on or off. This allows the appliance to be turned on or off remotely without needing any physical contact between the switch and the appliance.The PLA140S features over-current protection, low power consumption, anti-interference, and no spark switching.
