PPG101C1 is an electronic temperature sensor of the Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) type. It is based on a highly accurate thermistor which exhibits a predictable change in electrical resistance with changing temperature. The thermistor is designed to operate accurately over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +100°C and to tolerate up to 120°C for short periods of time.
