The PS301CPA is a fully integrated analog signal conditioning device used for signal acquisition and control within an industrial or process monitoring system. This device features an array of analog switches, multiplexers, and demultiplexers, as well as circuitry for differentiating the input signal and gain adjustment. The PS301CPA is designed to provide an optimized signal with the highest signal-to-noise ratio, to ensure accurate evaluation. It features two different types of analog switches: one type with two input ports, two output ports, and a common return port, and one type with two input ports, one output port, and one return port.The PS301CPA can also be programmed to a wide range of frequency settings. This allows it to be used for high and low frequency switching applications, from 1 kHz to 18 MHz, depending on the particular application.Working Principle
The analog switches, multiplexers, and demultiplexers inside the PS301CPA have an electrically conductive channel between two terminals, and can be opened or closed by applying a voltage to its control terminal. The multiplexer is then used to switch between different types of signals, such as electrical and optical signals, while the demultiplexer can be used to direct the signal flow from a single source to multiple destinations.The circuit used by the PS301CPA has been designed such that all the inputs are filtered and regulated to ensure that the signal will remain clean and stable over its range.
