Working Principle of PS7801P-1A-A

The working principle of PS7801P-1A-A can be divided into two parts,electromagnetic part and control part. PS7801P-1A-A employs a bidirectional Thyristor, also known as a bidirectional Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) or no voltage release SCR, as the output component. Through the control of the thyristor, the intensity of the current passing through the load is modulated, achieving non-contact control of the load. The electromagnetic part of the PS7801P-1A-A works wonders for turning on the transistor. An AC or DC signal is deployed to push forward the magnetization. Thereby, the output will be activated and a current can be brought to the load. When the on-state voltage is below a certain, safety value, the load inertia prevents its abrupt stop. The electromagnetic part can operate in two way – when the control voltage is at the maximum, the output voltage would be at the minimum and vice versa. This helps avoid overcurrent damages also aids in soft breaking, as required.
