Working Principle

PT4821A is a buck type DC-DC converter which is capable of regulating the output voltage of a switched-mode power supply. The gate of the transistor is driven by PWM signal which controls the on/off conduction current to the output inductor. Finally, the output voltage is kept stable, but the current is limited by the inductor current.
