PT5815C is an ultra-compact off-line flyback DC-DC converter designed for high performance power solutions. It provides excellent power conversion in a 2.75” x 2.2” x 0.8” package with an integral shielded enclosure for added convenience. PT5815C is ideal for point of load (POL) distributed power applications and can supply 15 Watts of regulated output power. It operates from an input voltage range of 90-265VAC, with switch mode operation and auto restart through brown-out, over-load and short-circuit protection. This dc-dc converter is a widely used product in the DC-DC converters field.
The working principle of the PT5815C is based on the flyback topology, which combines key components such as the synchronous rectifier, energy storage inductor, transformer, and integrated controller protection circuits into a fully integrated system.
