REF01CJ is a monolithic voltage reference IC used for designing a wide range of applications such as intermediate voltage supply, bias voltage supplies, portable test equipment and other portable applications. It can typically provide better than 0.01%, excellent temperature coefficient and a low temperature coefficient-of-curvature (CTC).
REF01CJ is typically used in precision voltage references, power supplies and many other applications. Its working principle is based on two transistors in a spin-controlled current-mirror configuration. To get the reference voltage, a reference current Iref is sourced to the emitter of an NPN transistor and then mirrored to a PNP transistor with a constant current source. A gain setting resistor is used to adjust the value of CTC and temperature coefficient.
Another important feature of REF01CJ is its excellent long-term stability. It is achieved through a symmetric monolithic design and a high-precision Lasimodi Process that ensures a high-performance over a wide temperature-range. It also has an on-chip zener diode for transients protection and an on-chip period-controlled temperature compensation for dynamic pre-charging.
REF01CJ also offers an adjustable output voltage range from 2.0V to 4.3V. The reference voltage is available through an external reference terminal.
