Working principle:

The REF5050 MDREP voltage reference is based on a bandgap architecture, which uses a temperature-stable voltage reference and feedback circuitry to regulate the output voltage. The output voltage is determined by the reference voltage, feedback divider and the gain of the amplifier. The gain of the amplifier is set by an external resistor, which is connected between the AMP0 and AMP1 pins. The output voltage is regulated by an internal error amplifier, which provides a feedback loop to keep the output voltage at the desired level.

The reference voltage is generated by a bandgap reference, which is a temperature-stable circuit based on a two-diode difference circuit. In addition, the REF5050 MDREP includes an internal temperature compensation circuit. The temperature compensation circuit monitors the temperature of the device, and adjusts the reference voltage accordingly, to ensure that the output voltage remains accurate over a wide temperature range.
