It serves the primary purpose of providing a steady and stable reference voltage to other parts of the PMIC. This reference voltage is used in measuring and regulating the other voltages generated by the PMIC, and is thus often referred to as the “heart of the PMIC”. One such voltage reference component is the REF5025SHKQ. This component is manufactured by Texas Instruments and is a voltage reference capable of supplying up to 25.0 V.

The REF5025SHKQ is a low-power, 5-volt scannable bandgap reference with low temperature drift, offering accurate and stable output voltage (nominally 2 volts) over a wide input voltage range (1.4V – 25V).
