The REF5020AIDGKR is a voltage reference designed to provide stable, accurate, and low-noise references for various demanding applications that require a high accuracy at both low and high temperatures.The REF5020AIDGKR is a family of low temperature coefficient, ultra-stable, low noise, and low power CMOS voltage references. It is available in three different versions: REF5020AIDGK, REF5020ARWK, and REF5020ARGK. The REF5020AIDGK is capable of providing references from 0.6V to 5.05V, while the REF5020ARWK is available with a reference voltage from 0.6V to 5.1V, and the REF5020ARGK is also capable of providing references from 0.6V to 5.2V. All three versions come in a 3x3mm QFN package, with extremely low quiescent current and high temperature stability.In terms of application field, the REF5020AIDGKR can be used in various applications that require precise references, such as instrumentation, data acquisition, medical equipment, power supplies, and load switching systems. It has a wide-ranging operating temperature range (-40℃ to +125℃) and high precision (±22ppm/°C) over a -30℃ to +85℃ temperature range. It also offers excellent output voltage compliance for optimal performance, and outputs a large current up to 25mA. It also provides reverse leakage protection, ensuring system safety in case of improper circuit operations.In terms of working principle, the REF5020AIDGKR is based on a precision thin-film voltage reference technique. This technique works by using a precision thin-film resistor network to create a precise voltage divider that sets the desired output voltage. The output voltage is then compared with a reference voltage and the difference is used to control a voltage adjustment loop. The voltage adjustment loop adjusts the reference voltage of the output divider, in order to get the desired output voltage.To ensure that the output remains stable over temperature, the REF5020AIDGKR also utilizes an ultra-stable capacitive stabilization technique. This technique works by using an ultra-stable capacitor as the temperature compensation mechanism, which helps to stabilize the output voltage by preventing inaccuracies due to temperature variations.Because of its excellent performance and precise output, the REF5020AIDGKR has been widely used for precise references for a variety of demanding applications. It is available in three different versions with a wide operating range, low power consumption, precise voltage compliance and outputs up to 25mA. It also offers reverse leakage protection and high temperature stability, making it an ideal choice for various demanding applications.
