The REG101NA-2.5/250G4 is an integrated linear voltage regulator designed specifically to provide regulated voltage source with low output noise, good line regulation and temperature stability. The REG101NA-2.5/250G4 is ideally suited for applications such as logic systems, digital circuitry, RF/IF circuitry, timing devices, power amplifiers and voltage reference sources. This integrated voltage regulator is designed to provide improved performance over that of un-regulated designs. It is capable of supplying output voltages ranging from 1.25V to 2.5V, with a maximum output current of 250mA.

The integrated REG101NA-2.5/250G4 consists of a temperature compensation network, a precision voltage reference (1.25V or 2.5V) and an output voltage error amplifier. An internal low drop-out output stage with low effective on-resistance provides a constant output voltage and current regulation independent of the input voltage. The combination of a precision internal temperature compensator, an external compensation function, and a voltage reference allow high accuracy and good peak current capability at up to 6V input voltage.

The integrated REG101NA-2.5/250G4 features excellent line and load regulation, high voltage accuracy, low output noise and good temperature stability. The internal voltage reference can be adjusted with an external resistor, allowing the user to achieve a wide input/output voltage range, from 1.25V to 2.5V. With the addition of an external resistor, the output voltage may be adjusted from 1.25V to 5V, with a maximum current limit of 250mA.
