RT7240GSP is a dual buck switching regulator and input AC/DC supply voltage of 4.5V to 36V which is suitable for voltage demanding applications. Integrated with internal high side power MOSFETs and Schottky diodes, the RT7240GSP provides a total output current of 18A and a total power of 90W.

The RT7240GSP has a typical efficiency of 90% to 95%. It also features low quiescent current, fast transient response, integrated PWM controller, soft-start, OCP, OTP, as well as programmable output voltage and frequency. Built-in power save functions are included and can improve the system efficiency by reducing the switching frequency during light load conditions, thus reducing the power dissipated in the MOSFETs.
