RT7264AZQW, a synchronous step-down DC-DC converter, is part of a family of low-cost, high-efficiency and highly-integrated Non-Isolated PMIC - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators. These converters, which use Anpec’s patented coreless CMOS technology, are particularly suitable for a wide variety of applications such as strategic and automotive markets, industrial, medical and consumer electronics.The RT7264AZQW is capable of providing up to 3A peak output current and is integrated with a Boost/Buck regulator and an adjustable linear regulator. The converter is designed to operate from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28Vand provides regulated outputs of up to 2.5V and adjustable up to 3.3V with 0.1V resolution. It also offers high efficiency with very low quiescent current. Additionally, the PowerOK pin indicates power good information, or can be used as a Soft-Start pin, as well as a Peak current Limit function.The device utilizes a synchronous MOSFET buck/boost architecture providing good efficiency, fast transient response, good line and load regulation, and excellent load transient capability. It has a wide switching frequency range (250kHz to 2MHz). When the load requirement exceeds the regulation, the device will automatically switch to next frequency. It offers programmable over temperature protection, power-good and over load protection. The RT7264AZQW offers a 10μA shutdown current and ultra-low power consumption through its Adaptive On-Time (AOT) PWM control technology. This technology enables it to deliver high efficiency over a wide load range while still maintaining accurate regulation and fast-transient response. AOT cycles are dynamically adjusted based on the output voltage, load current, and frequency selected. The device synchronizes to an external clock signal so the operating frequency can be pre-selected (via an external resistor and capacitor).The RT7264AZQW is one of the most cost-effective and versatile DC-DC converters available on the market today.
