WORKING PRINCIPLE

The RT8296BHGSP is a high-efficiency, single-channel synchronous buck PWM switching regulator with integrated MOSFETs that feature low RDSon and extremely low Gate charge. It integrates a wide range current-mode PWM controller and a high-side, high-efficiency power MOSFET, as well as a synchronous MOSFET. The wide input voltage range of the device makes it applicable to a variety of systems, allowing it to address many power conversion solutions.

Its core duty cycle is controlled by a voltage-mode current-mode PWM control loop. The core loop is composed of two key components, an Error Amplifier (EA) and the PWM comparator.
