The S9S12ZVL32F0VLF is an embedded microcontroller designed to meet the needs of a range of different applications. It is a member of the ZVL family of 8-bit microcontrollers, offering a range of features including an integrated 16 kB flash memory, 10 kB direct access RAM, 24-bit direct access bus and an advanced on-chip debugging unit. The S9S12ZVL32F0VLF has an enhanced architecture that is perfectly suited for applications in the automotive, consumer electronics and telecommunications industries, and is capable of performing complex operations with minimal power consumption.

The S9S12ZVL32F0VLF features two serial communications unit (SCUs) that are used to provide synchronous and asynchronous serial communications for both data and control.
