The SA5532P by Nuvotem is a high-performance, ultra-low-noise, low-distortion high-slew-rate operational amplifier (opamp). It is an instrumentation amplifier that provides excellent noise performance over a wide temperature range and is suitable for a variety of applications.

The SA5532P is suitable for a wide variety of linear applications such as buffering, gain adjustment, summing and level shifting. Its low noise and distortion make it ideal for signal processing applications such as filtering, equalization, GSM, tone control and signal sensing. Its low power consumption, low input bias current and flexibility make it suitable for audio signal processing, power amplification stages, active filters, and low frequency signal processing. Its high-slew-rate ensures excellent transient response and stability over a wide frequency range.

The SA5532P offers a wide dynamic range and excellent gain accuracy in both inverting and noninverting input configurations. It is designed for single and dual supplies between +3V to +18V, making it suitable for use in battery-operated applications. It features a power-down mode and overload protection which prevents overload of the amplifier. It also features an input to output traceable gain accuracy of over 0.1%, making it ideal for both precision instrumentation and audio applications.

The basic working principle of the SA5532P is a differential amplifier design that provides both low noise and low distortion. It combines a low-noise input stage consisting of rail-to-rail CMOS differential amplifiers with a gain stage consisting of a cascoded differential pair and transconductance amplifier. The amplifier provides excellent accuracy, high slew rate and wide linear bandwidth. The amplifier includes an input port and output port, where the output is a proportionally amplified version of the input.
