The SA56-21SURKWA is an LED character and numeric display module designed specifically for a wide range of applications. It has been designed for use in both static and dynamic display applications and is made up of a 16x2 LCD display. The LCD screen has a liquid crystal display with a backlight for display in both daylight and dark. It also offers a range of features including two lines of display and multiplexing for better image clarity, contrast and brightness.The top line of 16 LED characters display standard characters (7-bit ASCII) while the bottom line can deliver standard, half-height or full-height numbering. Its total display size is 268.3 mm (10.5 inches) x 44.5 mm (1.77 inches). The display module is also equipped with a white, 4-digit LED display module with a power consumption ofmerely 2W. The bright LED display offers good visibility and long lifespans which makes it perfect for dynamic display applications such as electronic price tags, signage boards and other similar applications.The SA56-21SURKWA LED display module also offers an excellent viewing angle with a viewing angle of greater than 150° (both horizontal and vertical). It is available in 4 digital (D-4) and 5 digital (D-5) packages. It supports both static and dynamic display modes and can be operated either in digital or analog mode. It has a range of operating environment from -20°C to +70°C which makes it ideal for outdoor applications.The SA56-21SURKWA LED display module is designed to be easy to install, use and maintain. It can be operated via a SCM (remote control), a push button, or by connecting to a serial or Ethernet port. The display module uses special ultra-bright surface-mount LEDs which make the display visible even in brightly lit environments. It also has a unique active output feature which allows it to be connected to other display modules.The working principle of the SA56-21SURKWA LED display module is quite simple. It comprises of a matrix of LED\'s which are connected to a set of multiplexers. Each LED is connected to a pair of gate and source electrodes which are linked to one or more of the data and control buses attached to the module. The LED\'s are activated in sequence and the intensity of the LED can be controlled by the voltage level on the LEDs source electrode.
