SB040/54, is a single-channel common reverse channel rectifier developed by Shanghai Benlo Electronics Co., Ltd. It is mainly used to rectify common positive and negative reverse polarity signals, and has the advantages of low forward voltage, high blocking voltage and reverse leakage current. This article will discuss the application fields and working principle of the SB040/54. The SB040/54 rectifier series uses an alloy unidirectional conducted structure. As the semi-conductor turns off and on, the alternating current is replaced by Direct Current as the electricity from the alternating current is forced to go one way only. The SB040/54 rectifier series has many advantages. It has a low forward voltage drop, making it suitable for applications where power consumption is a key requirement.
