SC20ALMDC belongs to Monitor - Current/Voltage - Relay Output category. It is an intelligent monitoring module with advanced measuring technology. It has eight current inputs, seven voltage inputs and four independent control relay outputs. The module is designed to monitor and auto-control temperature, pressure, level, flows, etc. of industrial process, petrol-chemical systems and general applications.

The SC20ALMDC is built into a robust, compact housing with a 172X84mm (WxH) panel cutout. The front panel has eight red LED indicator lamps, seven green LED indicator lamps and four buttons for manual control. The rear panel is fitted with various analog and digital I/O connectors. The module can be powered either by 24V DC or universal AC power supply.

In application field, it can be widely used for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, industrial process control, power plant monitoring and so on. It is built with a variety of communications and alarm outputs, so it can be easily integrated into various industrial process control systems and future SC20ALMDC upgrades and expansions.

The working principle of the SC20ALMDC is based on a Relay Output System. The module measures and monitors temperature, pressure and other inputs with high accuracy using an 8-Channel Current/Voltage Input Card. Inputs are presented on the front panel as a red and green LED indicating 0-10V signals. For manual control, four buttons on the front panel are used.

The SC20ALMDC also features four independently controlled Relay Outputs. It is designed to control actuators, valves, switches and other equipment to regulate the process. The Relay Outputs are supplied with voltage and current interruption output interface which is especially suitable for larger capacity relays and extra sensitive actuators.

Additionally, the SC20ALMDC is also equipped with a four channel alarm logic module to prevent process deviations and should alert operators in case of safety related events. TheRelay Outputs are connected to the alarm logic module which provides eight independent alarm outputs (including NC/NO contacts).

The module is operated through its keypad and LCD display or remotely via serial communication link. The keypad and LCD display can be used to change operational settings and view real-time process values. During alarm or fault tracking, the display will present relevant information in order for operators to take necessary actions if needed.

The SC20ALMDC is a reliable and versatile solution for monitoring and controlling temperature, pressure, level, flow and other industrial processes.
