SHTW1 application field and working principle
The SHTW1 Humidity and Temperature sensor is a digital output sensor designed to measure relative humidity (RH) and temperature in indoor or outdoor applications. This capacitive element consists of a capacitor with two electrodes separated by a permeable membrane or a layer of humidity-sensitive material such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The capacitance of the element changes with the relative humidity in the surrounding environment, and this change is measured by the ADC.
